This week we planned to have a basic version of the graphical item picker and to further refine the layout of the table view and item details view.
For the table view, the amount and measurement can now been seen in the cell of the item. These cells have been increased in size to compensate for the increase in information displayed. A detail disclosure button has been added for each cell which will be used to view and edit the details of an item.
The layout of the item details view has been changed to allow a user to tap the image space in order to take a photo for the item. The size of the space where the image is displayed has been increased to make the photo easier to see. There is now a space for the user to add a measurement for the item which will be linked to a picker view.
For this week, we intend to have the tableview split into groups of 'obtained' and 'un-obtained' items. Also, we intend to add the progress bar and total price information onto the bottom of the table view. For the details view, we intend to be able to cancel the adding of an item and to make inputting a price easier (by automatically adding a decimal point) we will also add the picker functionality for the measurement value.
For the basic graphical item picker, you can tap on items to add them to your list. To remove an item from your you tap on it again. There are multiple windows that you can swipe through.
For this week, we intend to populate the item picker with items the user has made and not just through code, have a functioning search bar, and sort the items under categories.
